Dear Friends, Supporters, and Neighbors –

I am filled with gratitude! Although the election did not go as hoped on Tuesday, I am blessed to have such incredible friends, family, and neighbors. To all of those who supported financially, knocked doors, worked the polls, offered encouragement, and the thousands who voted for me…THANK YOU!

You helped to share a vision for Chesterfield’s bright future, a city I will always believe in as an incredible place to live, work, and play. It has been an honor to serve our community…first as a City Councilman (Chesterfield’s youngest ever!), then as a State Representative. Now, I have the opportunity engage in other ways. Our real estate brokerage is thriving, the kids are amazing and growing in character and spirit every day, and I recently joined the board of Aging Ahead, an organization helping seniors. There is SO much to be grateful for!

I spoke with my opponent on Tuesday and wished him and his family well as he leads the City forward.

Here’s the biggest takeaway from my experience running for Mayor…God’s plan doesn’t always follow what we want or think is best. All we can do is plant seeds and trust in Him to bring the harvest at the right time and in the right way. There is always a lesson to learn and we can always improve on our expression of Him.
